Sherise Pleasant
CEO/Founder
Sherise Pleasant added CEO to her title in November 2020 after being in the workforce since the age of 13. Single mother of 4, born and raised on the Westside of Chicago, IL, Sherise discovered her calling for changing people’s lives after processing tax returns and fixing credit for family and friends in her basement. Upon this epiphany, Pleasant Financial Services was born.
Sherise maintained a steady job with The City of Chicago for 16 years. Her dream was always to provide a better life for her family. For starters, she knew she’d have to improve her credit. After investing thousands of dollars into credit repair, Sherise was still confronted with negative items on her credit report. Instead of investing more money, she began investing her time into learning the business herself.
At the early age of 28 and with odds stacked against her, Sherise purchased her first home. And after spending countless hours working 2 jobs, and outgrowing the space in her basement, Sherise knew she had a decision making. That decision was to step out and become an entrepreneur full-time.
Sherise became a Board-Certified Credit Consultant in 2019 and she opened the doors to an 800 sq ft office in August 2020. Within the blink of an eye, the business had grown tremendously, and she has since upgraded her fully staffed office space to 1900 sq ft. That location is 9415 S. Western Ave. Suite 202, Chicago, IL.
Pleasant Financial Services has maintained its motto to Repair, Rebuild and Re-Establish credit while educating consumers throughout the process.
Sherise has been speaking publicly, educating people on taxes, credit, and financial literacy. She’s been featured on Chicago’s Soul 106.3FM, Inspirational 1390AM, and WVON 1690AM.
Her goal is to help others obtain financial freedom for generations to come not only in her community but worldwide!
